Today was a busy day. I got myself a new cellphone, so I’m really happy now. Took some time to install everything, but he looks great. I had to do tons of other stuff, so cooking was not something I could spent my time on. So I just made this very easy but delicious couscous. I put some things together and it turned out fine!
That’s why I wanted to share it with you guys. 🙂
I came up with the idea because I had a lack of time to make something better. I found some veggies in de fridge, and thought about making a salad. Then I remembered the couscous my mum recently bought. I finished it in 5/10 minutes, luckily, ’cause I had a movienight planned with my dad and we already bought or cinematickets. There I sat, watching “Dying of the Light” with my couscous.
– 85 gram couscous
– around 1 cucumber
– red bell peper
– 1/2 lemon
– olive oil
– some nuts (I didn’t put a lot in it, I think make 6 nuts in total)
Cook some water, and add some salt and oil. When your water is boiling, turn the water off and put the couscous in.
Let them soak for about 3 minutes.
Then turn the gas on, and cook for another 3 minutes, then set it apart to cool down.
Take the skin of the cucumber and cut it together with the pepper and nuts.
Mix it with the couscous, put lemon over it and some mint on top.
Bon appetite! 😉
Remember my post about my cold feet yesterday? I should have known, haha. I was cold all day yesterday and today, and I didn’t knew why.
Untill 3 o’clock. I felt horrible, I had stomachpain and threw up.
I’m feeling a bit sick now.
I know that a lot of people have the flu, which is strange ’cause it’s already spring and almost april! Shouldn’t that be over now?
I also always thought that all of the RT4/vegan people had an amazing immune system, but clearly not, haha.
Thank God I have the best mum, ’cause she made me this amazing soup. This is currently my state of mind:
I call it; ‘Bored and feeling like crap’. Hooray.
A delicious vegan soup, with a lot of veggies! She really put everything in it. If this isn’t gonna make me better, what will?
At least I’m getting all my vitamins in. 🙂

Did you enjoyed new years eve? I certainly did. I went to a party of my neighbours; Paul&Paul. It was so much fun. There were “old people” that I already knew, and new people that I got to know. I talked with people from all over the world, and I got inspired by their happines and positive thoughts.

But it’s 2015 now, and I’m feeling brandnew.
I haven’t eaten any meat or dairy yet; I haven’t feel temptated, but I’m sure that’s gonna come up someday.
I ate a lot of banana’s the past few days and I’m feeling a bit like a monkey. All I do is peeling banana’s… I’m not at Banana Island, but it sure feels like it. I’m eating this much banana’s because I wanted to start the year with somesort of a cleanse, and it gives amazing health results. School is gonna start tuesday and I’m not really feeling like it. There’s so much to do in so little time.. But I need to be motivated: I’m in good health, I now I’m capable of doing it; so let’s do it!
First I want you all to have a happy newyear. I hope you can look back on a year of joy, love and happines.
Did you made your new years resolutions? I certainly did. I’m usually not the type to make resolutions. I mean, why should you do that for the new year? Why not start now, or tommorow? But then I thought; why shouldn’t I? Isn’t it always good to set goals for yourself? So here are mine.
1) I want to become a conplete vegan. I already am a vegetarian, and I don’t eat eggs or drink milk. But I still wear leather and I eat cheese. Not much, but at least 2 times a week… I want to become vegan because I believe it’s better for the world, the animals and my health.
2) I want to stay on track with my running. Maybe not that much as I’m running now (5/6 times a week) but I want to run for about 3/4 times a week, when I’m capable to do it.
3) I want to give more compliments. And then I mean real compliments; ones I truelly meant. You never now what you gonna get in return; it might be something sweet.
4) I want to smile more and be more positive. I sometimes catch myself being in this weird circle of negative thoughts. I want to avoid that, and be positive.
5) I want to be more aware of my belongings, of my good friends and all the things I have.

It’s time for another blog entry, jeeh! I’m so excited about this one, because a lot of people seem to forget this one. And because I like sleeping very much. ^^
Yeah, you’re right; I’m reading a blog about sleeping. Sleeping seems boring, one of the must useless things to do with your time.
But that’s absolute NOT true!
Your body needs sleep, just as much as it needs food or sport.
You probably think that you get enough sleep, but do you?
A friend of mine gave me this article: What happens if you get less than 8 hours sleep?
It clearly shows the mental and fysical damage you put yourself threw if you get less than 8 hours sleep.
I talked about the importance of a proper diet and sport. When you follow the RT4 lifestyle, and exercise regularly, you’re on track. But you still seem to miss something; SLEEP.
While you’re asleep, your body gets time to relax. You can let your sorrows slip away, and you can give your body some recovery.
So people, make sure you get enough sleep, so you can feel fit and energized when you wake up. Sleeping early is hard in the beginning, but you”ll get used to it. 😉
Today I want to blog about sport. A lot of people seem to think that they are living healthy, when they eat clean food and when they stop eating sugar. But changing your diet doesn’t make you healthy, of course it’s a good begin, and very important. But it’s not all. Your diet can give you more energy, less pain, a better skin and a good feeling.
So when you can have all of that with just a switch in diet, why would you exercise?
Because exercise gives you a positive feeling; it makes you fit, gives you a good condition. It can be a stress-releaser, or can give you space to think.
I myself sport 4/5 times a week. It may looks like a lot but it really isn’t. I go to yoga once a week; yoga makes me feel good about myself, it makes me relaxed. It also helpes me to reflect things better. I run 3/4 times by myself; I like running. I like the feeling you get in your legs; like you can’t stop and your legs are taking over. I also like to run in the cold, and to warm up during my run.
I’m also part of a running club, we run on sundaymorning. We have a trainer Susan, she stimulates us to run faster, better and she gives us cardio exercises to help us improve distance.
It helps me to relax and clear my mind.
I hope that everyone can see the importance of sport; it’s not only good for your health, it’s also mentally a good thing.
Yesterday was really nice! I went out for dinner with my best friend, we ate sushi. I LOVE SUSHI. More then every other food in the world. I love the texture, the taste, the looks. Haha, I’m going crazy on sushi, but it just seems to give me energy. Today was a active day for me, but it feels really good. I went for a bikeride from 1.5 hour, and I ran for about an hour. Today I worked, and at work I drank a blackbery-cucumber smoothie. Everybody at work are talking about me, behind my back. Because of my RT4 lifestyle. I thought I didn’t care, I feel good about it. But it does hurt. Don’t they see I’m doing the good thing? Living a healthy life? Don’t they want to feel the same good way I’m feeling?! I’m happy that my boyfriend is supportive. He isn’t eating the same way, but he helps me and he never complains whenever we eat vegan or vegetarian. AND he loves sushi too ^^.
