I love to eat with my friends. But like I said in my last post, it can be hard to eat out. Another way to avoid that could be eating at home. That’s what I did yesterday, I invited a friend and together we cooked a delicious dinner!
We made a few dishes; at first we made zuchinni soup. After that we had a zuchinni pasta and a salad.
I made the pasta for the second time, it’s still a succes!
The recipe for the soup;
– 4 zuchinni’s
– vegetable stock
– 2 onions
– some garlic
– around 600 ml water
Cut the onion and the garlic and put them in a big pot. Let them cook, and cut the zuchinni in little dices.
Put them in the pot, and cook for 10 minutes. Then put the water and the stock in. Cook for 20 minutes, then blend the zuchinni until you get a creamy texture. And your soup is done!
It was nice to make a meal together; and it was fun that my friend liked my vegan food! That’s a good goal right? Eating at home can be the solution if you’re scared to dine out, or just want to save money.
As you may have read in my last post, change, I visited Rome for the first time!
Was it a succes? Yes.
Did I eat rt4? Mostly not. (Rt3)
Have I seen some of the most amazing architecture? All the time.
Do I want to go again? Yes!
Unfortunately Rome is quite expensive, so I won’t have the money to go any day soon.. But that doesn’t matter.
I fed my mind with enough beautiful art to endure for a while.
This is a picture of the beautiful St. Pieters, it was really special because we got to go on a service. In the most famous cathedral of the world.. Still can’t believe it.
This was in the middle of the city; could you imagine; waiting on the bus,looking to an old ancient Roman building. These pilars where everywhere.
And that’s me with my handsome friends. Dream on Jaz. I never had the time to talk to them. A shame, they all smiled really cute.
Now a very important part; the food.
Let me tell you one thing; I knew pasta could be good, but I never knew it was that good until I had it in Rome. I ate pasta all the time. It was vegan, filled me up, but most importantly; delicious! !
I also ate a lot of bruschetta, high in oil but a really nice lunch. (And something else then pasta all te time)
Rome was really cool. I liked the people, the heat,the food. Only the public transport was a bit of a mess.. Thank God I found an app for that.
Oh lord, where would we be without the Internet?
I still recommend Rome to everyone; it’s a nice,clean and wonderful city to visit!
I know, my title is really weird. Well, so was my meeting with this little grasshopper yesterday. But it is a cute story.
Yesterday was a school day, so I went to school on my bike. While I was cycling, I found this little green friend. He was sitting on my bike. I thought I could protect him from falling off, till I was at school. Then I could bring him to some bushes. But, while I was cycling, he decided to go sit on my coat.
I arrived at school and couldn’t find my little friend, I thought he flew away. But when I arrived at my locker, I found him hanging in my hair! My classes already started so I gave him a spot in my locker..
And when I got back from classes, he was still there. I carried him home and set him free i the garden.
Everyone around me (I told some people about my grasshopper) thought it was weird, thought that I had to kill it. But why? It’s just another small, living creature. Why should I kill it for no reason?
It made me realize we’re not all the same.
I wanted to show you some pictures of me before I start this RT4 journey.
Don’t mind my face, I was (or actually am) a little bit tired.
As you can see, I’m not really fat. But I do have some extra fat, fat that doesn’t belong on my body.
I want to get rid of this fat, and most of all become very very healthy. From the inside and the outside. I wan other people notice hwo healthy I am. And I want to feel better. I want to get rid of ed thoughts (which I actually have a lot) and just look good.
RT4 is gonna help me, I really now that this lifestyle can help me forever.
Like I told you yesterday, I’m starting over! Just because I had some difficulties and I couldn’take the time to really read me into this lifestyle. That’s why I decided to start over, fresh, and full of energy.
I actuall started yesterday but I didn’t had time to post and my pictures wouldn’t open. Very frustrating. But it all doesn’t matter anymore, I just log now.
Yesterday was hard, went to the cinema.It was really nice but hard to resist the popcorn. I wonder, if you make them yourself, if they are RT4-proof.
I had a school day today and I had artclass. Theater. I really like it. My teacher is great, and I get cool feedback from the other students. Yesterday I went for a bikeride, and today I walked for 1,5 hour. SO I did my excercise.

- Breakfast: bananasmoothie
- Snack:cucumber and 3 banana’s
- Lunch: mandarines and 2 apples, some veggies
- Snack: large salad, juice and dried fruit (picture above)
- Dinner: 4 mandarines and 2 apples
- 2 Dinner: broccoli and sugar snaps with mushrooms
- Snack: crackers
RT4 day 2
- Breakfast: 2 banana’s
- Snack: 1 sandwich with jam
- Lunch: 3 mandarines, 2 apples, veggies (baby tomatoes, carrots, cucumber)
- Snack: large salad with tomatoes and home made dressing
- Dinner: soup
- 2 Dinner: pumpkin and 0.5 zuchinni
- Snack: small soup, 4 winegums
Tomorrow is going to be a hard day, I need to visit the hospital. I need to receive treatment. But my boyfriend is joining me, luckily..
I told about it in my last blog, but now I finally made my deciscion.
I’m gonna start over!
And I’ll be posting foto’s of myself (my face,body etc.) tomorrow. I’ve had a busy time and I forgot how important it is to stay on the RT4 guidelines. I may have cheated a bit..
But I’ve realised that it isn’t going to bring me somewhere if I do it like that. That’s why I decided to start over. I’ve read some more, I now know more then I did the last time.
And, most important, I’m motivated to stay on track.
So my blogfriends, let’s make a fresh start!
I’m think I might start counting from 0 on again.. I’ve been of track a lot while I was on vacation, about a week ago. So it feels a bit weird to say that I’m already 26 days RT4 while I’ve been of the wagon.. So guys, what do you think? I might leave it open.
Let’s talk about yesterday&today. It was my boyfriends birthday yesterday! Yeah, happy me. We celebrated it with some of our friends and his family. He has such a sweet grandma, the one that always gives you chocolat and tells you stories about the past. I like her. Might swap her with my grandma. I don’t actually recall what I ate (I did a lot and I ate on the go) except for dinner. Which was at my boyfriends. His dad is a chef and he made this awesome Chinese veggiesoup. I ate two large bowls. It was nice to talk to everyone and I made him very happy with my gift.
But now, today! Well, today was okay, we have this runningclub/thing going on, and we have a lot of loyal members. That’s why I also feel a bit pushed to go. We have a trainer and we ran for about a hour. That’s long enough for me, haha! But it feels great afterwarts, so I’m happy we went. I made a delicious banana smoothie after my run, I added some almonds drops and that tasted really nice. I learnt for some courses, yeah, school has really started again. So has the learning. We had a BBQ for diner. I don’t eat meat, but my family does. Mum bought some really nice things for me, like sweetcorn and zuchinni’s. Together we made 2 great salads. This might be one of the last sunny days,so a BBQ was a thing to do, to end the summer.
RT4 day 26
- Breakfast: 1 apple, later a bananasmoothie (3 banana’s)
- Snack: bananachips and crackers
- Lunch: soup and some cherry tomatoes
- Snack: soup with bananachips and later a lollipop
- Diner: a greek salad, another salad, 2 sweetcorns and some veggies (a few mushrooms, half a zuchinni,some paprika)
- Snack: some candy
I liked today, it was a relaxed sunday,
the day has almost ended here in Amsterdam. It was another school day for me, but I didn’t had to get up early so that was nice. I met a guy whose sister also has my disease, so it was nice talking to him. I, again, made a large lunchpakket made of fruit and a beansalad. I enjoyed it. My dinner was also great. Mum has made a vinegar dressing, and I love it. It doesn’t have anny oil only vinegar.
RT4 day 26
- Breakfast: 4 banana’s
- Snack: 2 banana’s
- Lunch: 2 banana’s and 2 apples, cherry tomatoes
- Snack: beansalad with paprika and a small soup
- Dinner: a large salad with mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumber, vinegar, broccoli
- Snack: ricecrackers and a lollpop
school has started today… But to be honest, I kinda like it. 🙂 Not just working, but learning things. I like to learn new things and I have a lot of cool subjects this year. I follow philosophy, history and a few other things. I hope that this is gonna be a fantastic school year, full of good grades. ^^ I thought about how I could get my nutricients in at school. HOW do I do that?? I thought about carying all of my banana’s, but I can’t keep 10 banana’s in my bag. And they don’t fill me up enough, I always crave after my banana’s. Even when I eat 6 banana’s… So I made a white bean salad with paprika and onion, a fruitsalad, and a salad made of tomtatoes and cucumber.
My lunchbox, a delicious and fresh salad. The girl next to me was also eating, she first ate grapes (healthy) but after that opened a Mars-bar (unhealthy!). I think I stared at her. How could she do that? All the fat,sugars,E-numbers.. All of these things are bad for us. It was weird, ’cause she was, or that’s how it looked, being a healthy person with her fruit. But unfortunately, not all of us take good care of our body.

- Breakfast: 4 banana’s
- Snack: white beans with paprika and onion (and hrbs)
- Lunch: salad with 1 banana
- Snack: 2 banana;s and 2 apples
- DInner: 1 slice of toast with hummus and a huge salad with broccoli,beans and other veggies
- Snack: tomatoes and carrots with hummus
Yesterday was really nice! I went out for dinner with my best friend, we ate sushi. I LOVE SUSHI. More then every other food in the world. I love the texture, the taste, the looks. Haha, I’m going crazy on sushi, but it just seems to give me energy. Today was a active day for me, but it feels really good. I went for a bikeride from 1.5 hour, and I ran for about an hour. Today I worked, and at work I drank a blackbery-cucumber smoothie. Everybody at work are talking about me, behind my back. Because of my RT4 lifestyle. I thought I didn’t care, I feel good about it. But it does hurt. Don’t they see I’m doing the good thing? Living a healthy life? Don’t they want to feel the same good way I’m feeling?! I’m happy that my boyfriend is supportive. He isn’t eating the same way, but he helps me and he never complains whenever we eat vegan or vegetarian. AND he loves sushi too ^^.
